Music for a Summer's Evening

The end of an era for me at Leighton Park, with one of the highlights of the school year, Music for a Summer's Evening. This time, especially poignant as it is the last one for me as a current parent, and with lots of my friends there. After a week of unsettled weather it was a stunning day and the pupils performed in the golden evening light. Beautiful.

I had worked that day with a Reunion for the alumni and had had a wonderful day. Sometimes it really doesn't feel like work, spending time meeting and chatting to such lovely people!
The rest of the family flew out on holiday today leaving me behind to follow on tomorrow.
