Pigeonnier

Though it does not sound an exciting morning, my OH and I enjoyed a fascinating guided tour of the nearby village Allemans du Dropt. This lovely little sleepy village had a really interesting story, which a simple wander through as a tourist would not uncover. This part of France is rich with medieval wonders, and it is extraordinary to imagine the likes of Richard the Lionheart rampaging across the area.

These pigeon lofts are very typical and I thought this made a lovely blip.
