Tiny Tuesday ...

... saying or proverb.

"A Bird's eye view."  Or maybe "Free as a Bird."

We had such an incredible day on our playdate at Debbi's today!  Her property is so lovely ... as is she! 

We got up to her place around 10:30 am after some traffic issues getting there.  Once there we sat on the deck and talked about everything and anything.  All while photographing the many species of birds and butterflies that visit her awesome gardens.  I shot way too many pictures so I've put together a collage ... which you can see in Extras. 

But I simply had to go with this male ruby-throated hummingbird as my main today.  We don't get to see the males very often here at our own house so it was quite a treat to see them and get some pictures.  Please have a look full screen.

Not only was seeing all the hummingbirds a treat but there were also a lot of juvenile birds to be seen.  The largest picture (upper right) in my collage is of a juvenile red-bellied woodpecker ... which I've never seen before.  And funny enough the picture I shot of Debbi was when she was getting her own blip!  And we didn't even plan this!
