A 10 Day

Every so often in life we have a 10 out of 10 day and I'm pleased to say today was one of them for me.  We set off at 8.00 am and drove to the Northumberland Coast.  We parked in Craster and walked to Dunstanburgh Castle (the ruins of a 14th century castle) and then on to Embleton Beach (see extra) which looked stunning.  We had a picnic lunch on the beach and then walked back to the village.

On our return home a note had been posted through the letterbox saying that a parcel had been left for us in our safe place.  It was a beautiful wedding album from our son and daughter-in-law.  I am thrilled with it.
