Busy

We suggested a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water today to our Southampton friends. S had been before, with us, but the last time P visited he was just 5 years old. As expected with the weather being so hot it was heaving. Lots of children and dogs were playing in the river. 

We managed though to get a lovely cool outside table at The Rose Tree for lunch. The ham and cheese ploughman's that I had was a work of art (extra). The rhubarb cider was nice too.

We were surprised to see that The Model Railway where daughter#2 used to work has now opened as a gelateria. So after a tour of the motor museum our friends treated us to gelato. Again we found a cool outside table.

So, very busy, but not impossibly so.
