Three Bales

Granddaughter Amelia was happy to spend her last day with us in the house saying she was 'tired' - so we must have done a good job yesterday!

Her mum collected her about 3pm and after they'd gone the house felt so empty - but a lot tidier! I'm missing her already.

This week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday theme is 'three/trio' and I spotted the farmers cutting the grass for bales earlier so this evening I got a composition with just three bales! An odd number is always a more pleasing composition that an even number - funny how the mind works!

I'll be watching the Cardiff City FC v Reading pre-season friendly on tv this evening. I watched a couple of their Austrian friendlies. Not long before the football season starts......I can hear some people's groans already.
