A day in the life

Sempervivum

My Houseleeks latin name is 'Sempervivum' (semper-forever, vivum-living). It's "planted" directly on a slab of limestone from the island, seven years ago and it has gone through hell of droughts and torrential rain. it's at least four times as big as when I put it there and is currently blooming. When I fixed my limestone balcony last week, I put a few new ones  between the slabs, it will be interesting to see their development in the coming years.

Eva, the poet, visited today to meet up and to plan a coming concert in August. I still have fun tasks to look forward to.
