Small or Large

I believe this is a small tortoiseshell butterfly, identified by the white mark near the tip of the wing. No doubt some kind blipper will let me know if I am wrong or right?

Coffee morning down the road, then this afternoon an optician appointment. That was quite successful in so far as he suggested my cataract is not as bad as originally thought and most of the problems can be corrected with a new prescription. He wants to keep a check on it in a years time, which is fine by me!
