Urkult preparations

The Urkult music festival starts tomorrow afternoon but we (and many others) decided to arrive a day early. So now we are here in our camper van on Sigges camping, we got our festival armbands with no queuing, and we’ve had a wander about the site.
The picture shows sunset over the main stage. The stage was the domain of riggers and technicians, with a few performers rehearsing for the fire festival at midnight tomorrow.
We would have been here a lot sooner but as we were getting ready there was a very heavy shower, torrential rain with hail mixed in. After that shower we went back to the van to find the bed, under the skylight, was wet. Horror!!!
Jan dealt with the bed and bedding while I went up onto the roof to see what had gone wrong. The 10 year old sealing was a bit past its best and if the water got a little deeper on the roof it could find its way in. Luckily I had some sealing left over from a previous job and it was still in good condition so I could put things right.
We may find out how successful my fixing was because rain is forecast while we’re at the festival!
PS I added a couple of backblips today so if you were in earlier you may have seen some icy sea pictures. The weather hasn’t suddenly turned icy, the photos were from March!
