View from the cab...

Another dry day,so once I'd been round the cattle,set about finishing baling the grass that we didn't get done yesterday.
Had it finished by lunch time. Left Kev on carting in the bales for wee brother to wrap and after a quick lunch ,set about hacking my way round the lawns with the old ride on mower. It wasn't happy as the grass was long and wet,and I spent a fair amount of time with my arm up the discharge pipe unblocking things.
Headed back next door to bale up another field that was just about dry enough to be hay. Had it finished by 6.30 pm, filled the tractor up with diesel ready for tomorrow, then headed off down the road to feed the heifers. A lot of work has been going on since I was there a couple of nights ago. One neighbour had got their winter barley cut and the straw was all baled. Another neighbour was busy today baling and wrapping one field of grass,the other is baled for hay.
Hope this weather holds as we have a long way to go yet........
