Crocosmia

The heatwave continues and Violet has moved onto Aunty's house thanks to Mr MC who drove her over there late this morning.  She has enjoyed her stay here, sleeping in, doing not a great deal but mostly in the garden because it's so hot and giving Dreamies to 'Fred' our visitor cat.  At Aunty's house she can help with their cat Winnie.
Meanwhile the heatwave continues and mostly I feel too hot, an old age thing I think.  I can only sit out in complete shade which has proved more difficult since we lost our rowan tree.
I did brave the sunshine to photograph this crocosmia amongst other flowers.
