It's Abstract Thursday!!

Today's effort began as a couple of shots of the hanging basket at the back of the house, using ICM.  I then did lots of things to the images, including Motion Blur, Double Exposure and a couple of colour filters.  The finished result doesn't even represent the colours of said hanging basket (blues and mauves) but I think that it does look rather pretty.  Thanks to our regular host Ingeborg.
In other news: on yet another very hot day, with only 5 minutes of the promised rain here in Essex, the Flower Fairies dropped in briefy with their mum and aunty, en route to Lakeside.  This afternoon I had lunch and a good catch up chat  with my friend C.
