Ouch

Not the best way to find a Blip.

Fell over out walking this morning. Foolishly stepped on to a sheet of sloping wet limestone made ultra smooth by glacial action 20,000 years ago.  Ended up on my back. My Apple watch immediately went into action to phone Mrs. K. but fortunately she was just a few yards away. Luckily the damage was not severe and I have ended up with some mild back and neck ache. And I benefitted from all that practice of getting up from the floor which Mrs. K. has made sure I do.

But before I got up I realised that a few feet away there were some Summer Fungi. A Blip I cried forgetting to check whether I had broken anything. How it dominates our lives.

It is Marasmius androsaceus.
. It is commonly called a Horsehair parachute mushroom. Grows on Pine needles.
