Journies at home

La Halle

Thinking it couldn't soar further the thermometer reached new heights.

Waiting in the air conditioned airport, I imagined how it must have felt crushing for the children as they took the steps down to the runway.  10 minutes later they appeared at the sliding doors, Irish white and untainted by mosquito bites.

We drank cold beer at Atmos and watched the MIMA bar staff (who are all deaf) silently signing across their table.  Their bar is being set up under the Halle, along with a notice that provides the hand movements necessary to say hello, order a beer, express thanks and say goodbye.
