Abstract Thursday: Psychedelic Wood Grain
I've spent most of the afternoon pressure-washing our garden fence - it faces north and was quite well covered in moss. As we want to paint it with some preservative (although it is made with treated wood for a long life) it seemed best to get rid of the moss first. It's a long fence (11 panels of which I've so far washed 8) so my rather puny arms are feeling a little tired now!
Anyway I took a photo of some of the grain and subjected it to a "little" fartnarkling. There's no special theme for Ingeborg's AT challenge today so I decided to go all out for a psychedelic, distorted effect. (It looks like Ingeborg has gone for a pretty psychedlic look too!)
NB. As you've probably noticed we've just entered August - already?! That means this Saturday is the first one of the month which means its: a Hosted Silly Saturday in memory of Admirer who originated the challenge. I have the pleasure of hosting this time, so please give my Editor and me a good chuckle with some crazy, silly of just plain stupid blips! The tags will be SilSAug2024 and/or SilS409. Thanks!
