Who says garden steam trains are an old man's thing?

Flatland Washes Railway charity open day today, well, this afternoon anyway and an excellent relaxing time was had by all - including a veritable flock of visiting blippers including Annie&Chris, Meyesme, Blast, and Chipmonkey.

I've plenty of shots of trains, all of them photographically better than this one, but this scene just takes my fancy.  Pity about the table!

In case anyone's concerned, the young ladies in spotted tops are from an engineers family and well versed in how to handle a live steam loco.

Thanks to all who came, and to E for serving innumerable drinks.  It was a particular pleasure to meet Annie & Chris, and to see old friends we'd not seen for a long time.  

We raised of the order of £250 for Cambridge Central Aid.
