More tufted ducks

Out in the afternoon to Inverleith pond by Stockbridge. The pavements there are getting busy; to be avoided for the next month until things calm down. Found the set of 5 tufted ducklings previously reported, and a new smaller set of 5, diving with great insouciance regardless of swans, pigeons, and gulls.

Very little wind, and 20C high, though somewhat humid.

There was a plan for Fringe music, but we had E.ON visitors instead. The correspondence between meters, accounts, and bills being paid in our building is all ski-whiff, and the national database entries are wrong, so we have been trying to get it sorted.
