Is it ever really only rock 'n' roll?
Never! After being preached at most of the day about the error of my ways and being reminded that I am on the road to ruin and am heading to eternal misery and would be hurting loads of people along the way, I have decided that my religion is rock and roll. I may burn in Hell, but the music might be good.
I decided to get used to standing the heat in readiness for that big heat of Hell by walking across the park towards the airport. It's just a massive field and Green Belt land so not much of a park. It was busy today though! People had picnic hampers and deck chairs all by where the planes come in. There was a lad of about 12 with a camera that looked like the Hubble Telescope on a tripod. I was most envious! You could hear the crackle of radio frequencies everywhere with the conversations of the pilots.
I missed two planes as I just couldn't focus in the bright light and had a sneezing fit so turned and walked towards the railway bridge going into Marston Green instead. As my last pilot coming back from Glasgow was a bad woman driver, I guess I'm better off taking pictures of trains....
I had dinner at the Dog and Doublet with John and Jennie where I tried on Jennie's hat for a laugh. I wasn't tempted to use it for today's blip though. My expression said something like 'I look like a nana, my pint is evaporating and there is a rotten smell coming from the Gents' Toilet.'
