About Turn

Knew l was going over to Tim’s for the weekend but couldn’t decide which way to go, could just drive there or there are two ways to get there using public transport.
While l was debating l tidied up the kitchen and then the garden so took a shot of the agapanthus.

Decided to do Ilkley, Keighley Hebden Bridge and as was locking the door H my next door neighbour was just going to Ilkley herself so gave me a lift.
Then l found out the timetable has changed since l last came this way and l would miss my next connection l had a quick think.
I saw the Bradford train was leaving in two minutes ( the bus and rail station are next to each other) so  l quickly bought a ticket and got on as the train set off. Walked quickly through Bradford city centre to the Interchange and caught the Manchester train which was just leaving and got off at Halifax. Finally a bus that stops at the end of the road my family live on.
It’s been a hot journey but l’m here now and looking forward to the next couple of days, nothing planned but l will enjoy their company and hospitality.
