Torpid

I met this decidedly torpid blackbird on my walk today - rather stunned looking and certainly not keen to move out of the way.  I rather sympathised, it's been so hot and enervating, even after the terrific rainstorm we had yesterday afternoon, which turned the path outside my front door into a river and managed to find its way through the new conservatory roof  ;(

Nothing much else to report.  To be honest I'm feeling torpid too, rather like the bird, and I'm not even in the middle of an annual moult!

Ah well, back to having the fan on!
