Progress

After Django's short walk, the online meeting I'd expected to join never happened, and I spend my day with admin following up on yesterday's meetings. This was interrupted by a one-hour meeting with an exciting prospective PhD student, and a catch-up with И, passing on the news from yesterday and this morning. I also did some more work on the Royal Society memoir.

When I took a break, I tuned in and watched a fascinating sailing final: a joy of the Olympics is seeing well-presented sport that I would not normally get the chance to watch.
