Steep..

Learning Curve! 

My daughter was out again today working on the basics of foil kite boarding...like staying upright on the board! She has started practising by being towed behind a boat. Holding a kite while surfing on a foil  on the waves of the Caribbean is a long way off,  but she hopes to be ready to at least take formal lessons down there this winter...I am amazed at the progress she has made after only a few times out there with the boat.

My favourite pix of the day was this main, but a close second was the one in the extra - relaxing before going out for the first ride of the day. 

Another extra? My daughter is the one responsible for those pots of glorious flowers on the dock and decks ...Regular fertilizer along with an occasional haircut seems to be the secret..  She swears the blooms will keep on coming...and I believe her - at least, last year they did!   

It is still HOT - consistent temperatures hugging the 30degrees C mark day after day after day...whew..we could use a cold front right about now...
