That’s The Way To Do It!

After last night’s sleep over, we took Sophie to meet her Mum & Dad at the sports ground at Burnham on Sea where there was a family fun day and car boot sale.

One of the attractions on offer was a traditional Punch & Judy Show; it took me back to childhood holidays at Kent seaside resorts - Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate….

There were a couple of vinyl record stalls at the car boot sale; I spent a happy half hour browsing and picked up a copy of a live recording by a favourite band from my teens, “Elegy” by The Nice.

Here they are performing “America”, which features on the LP, in 1968.

Afterwards we had a stroll and a spot of lunch on the seafront.
