Smiley Sophie

Kate & Sophie came over for a swim this morning. When children are over 8, they are allowed to swim in the deep end once they have shown the lifeguards that they can swim two lengths confidently and without stopping; Sophie was delighted to pass this test this morning and celebrated by swimming another 10. Tess and I can’t keep up with her!

They stayed for lunch and we played a few games before they headed home.

This evening, with Keep Fat finished for the summer holidays, Chris and I joined Tess at the Street Striders, the local running club, for their Monday night 5k jog. It was a very good turnout and a very sociable run.
