Sunflower Treat

On what would have been my Mum's 90th birthday I decided to visit a farm producing some of her favourite flowers, sunflowers.  That the farm was on Hayling Island near Langstone Harbour and the Solent, and the sun was shining with blue skies and a gentle breeze was a bonus.

I hadn't visited this farm before, but found it to be well set up with fields of sunflowers and wild flowers to walk round, as well as a café and facilities. As a "Pick Your Own" site they also include 3 sunflower stems in the entrance fee.  So I had a happy hour or so wandering around with the camera before cutting my stems and heading to Langstone Harbour for the rest of the day. Mum would have loved it!
