Bird's nest

A lazy morning pottering, and after and early lunch/brunch, the weekend shop. All done, and back home again, in just over an hour. Did a bit of tidying up and sweeping up, following the pine tree felling yesterday. Lots to get rid of and I might get a man to collect it all, otherwise it's little by little in the green garden bin. I found what I hope is an old bird's nest, maybe a robin, but I stand to be corrected of course. There has certainly been no robin activity in the garden of recent weeks. It really is a work of art, so beautifully constructed. B popped in to return a book, and we had a quick catch-up on news. Her next main event is also her granddaughter's wedding in November:)
