Sweet peas

I'm really enjoying my first ever successful sewing of sweet peas. And the scent is really lovely.... as I cut them, more appear. A bit of pottering in the garden, filling our shared garden waste bin with pieces of conifer. It will take a while to be rid if it all, but I'm in no rush. A lot of activity with helicopters and police sirens this afternoon, as I understand there is some rioting at a local hotel not far away, which houses migrants. What a terrible and sad situation we have come to. Our street WhatsApp is buzzing, and it is on the local and national news, but I want no part if it.
