Cannon Fire

…………………………….across the Tweed this afternoon at the 400th birthday celebration of the old bridge! Guess which silly ass was right in line of all the ash and debris you can see flying! My extra shows some yarn bombed posts on the quayside and a morris dancer’s hat outside the main guard.

I handed the wee one over to his Grandad just before 10am then hotfooted it over to Berwick take photos of the bridge celebrations as part of the camera club. I’d missed the procession of dignitaries and throwing of the wreath into the river but there was plenty of action still going on…and the celebrations carry on tomorrow too. Managed to fit in a wander around the Lowery Exhibition too as it’s free all weekend, so that was a bonus.
