The Flower Belt

Out early this morning. Just as well as there was lots of drilling and dust in the street. They seem to be replacing lots of the inspection hatches. 
Had a lovely walk with Matthew and two Labradors. Mara is Matthew’s dog and Blakey his in laws dog. Lots of swimming to stay cool. We walked through Duncombe Park to Helmsley before calling in at the Flower Belt. A popular Wildflower pick your own field. After a coffee I set out with scissors and receptacle to select a colourful bunch of flowers to take home.
Couldn’t resist this photo of a lady who was with her husband who was doing the cutting. They were there as we arrived and were still picking as we left. It was so warm the flowers needed a good drink when we got home.
