Looking juicy

In a dark corner of my garden cuckoo pint thrives. It is now time for the berries to ripen and they do look enticing, except I know they are poisonous. I wonder how old I was when I learned that? Aeons ago, of course!

I've had a very quiet day at home. Lovely. Time to rest completely after a busy couple of weeks.

NB Did you know that pint is a shortened version of pintle meaning penis and is derived from the shape of the spadix. The contraction of the name is credited to Turner in 1551. He was the father of English botany.
