It was event #500 at Maldon Prom parkrun and there was a bit of a party atmosphere at the back with people wearing blue, fancy dress and milestone t-shirts.
Marion and I were pleased with our finish times as we were both tired and it was a warm day. Afterwards we headed to the river for a swim. It was a Prince and Princesses fun day at the Osea Leisure site and we were entertained by a Meghan Trainor tribute.
After a shower I dropped MrRIU at the pub, narrowly avoiding being caught up in a carnival road closure and then visited Pa where I came away with a whole bag of produce from the garden.

A few hours of chores before it was pub pickup time and then a little TV before an early night.
