Sunflowers
Today we returned to Winchester. Long journey on M25 and M3 due to heavy traffic but probably it will be even worse later today and tomorrow, as people head to Heathrow and Gatwick for holiday flights.
Apparently, yesterday afternoon, there was a torrential thunderstorm here, which caused flooding in the city centre. We are higher up and don't seem to have sustained any real damage; even the sunflowers are still standing tall. The block paving on our road and driveways looks as if it has been power washed (which I suppose is what did happen!). Good to be home but now need to catch up with things here, hence late posting of this blip
