Still alive!

We had thought that we might not be able to meet up with my dear old friend Roland on this visit, since he was doing numerous shows on the Gentse feest which only finished yesterday, and just celebrated his birthday (80th) on Thursday. So I was delighted to get a message from him saying he would be at his partner's house in Hove today - yes, I read that as Hove at first and was quite surprised. But of course it's Hov-e, which is a village near Kontich! So we went up to meet them in the back garden (builders on the roof!) and had a great couple of hours blethering. After this they were going up to Antwerp to visit Danny, where she'd managed to get Rebecca's body home to lie in its casket for a couple of days.

Back to Leuven for dinner and wine - Dave cooked the meal, to great acclaim from our hosts!
