Both sides of the street

A gap filling blip as due to a busy work day, I took no photographs. The really good thing is that the weather was just on the cusp of being hot, making my work attire bearable and the air just 'nice' :-)

Arriving home in the evening shattered, an hour was spent sequestering the Xbox from youngest so a jaunt through the Lake District could be had on Flight Sim. The time & weather was running live and so with the light fading by the time the bottom of Windermere was reached, the little Cessna continued south across Morecambe Bay, following streetlights along the Fylde coast & beyond, looping around the Mersey Estuary to land at Liverpool's John Lennon Airport.

Following that was a hot soak in the bath and late night cuppa cyber-chinwagging with Ms Arell, my emergency blip photos being from a few days earlier in Maryport. The pub we ate outside was on the main approach to the harbour and am guessing that it was once steeper and wider. The current main road is raised, built up from the old buildings either side, the north of which is still known as Shipping Brow and the south now Senhouse Lane (formerly known as Shipping Brow)
