Serendipity

Triangles aplenty.

A trip out to Triangular Lodge today to see this. It was very good, however difficult to get a decent snap of, so I tried my best.

You can read more about the Lodge here.

I also popped up the road to Lyveden New Bield, the two buildings are linked (the National Trust has decided to shorten its name, I'm not sure why).

It was busy as there was some re-enactment stuff going on, so I didn't linger, but I went as it was a place I used to go with my gran years ago before the National Trust developed it into the tourist attraction it is today.

It brings back happy summer memories when we would park at the end of the lane, wander up the track beside the wheat fields, pay our entry fee at the cottage, and then wander round the place, usually all to ourselves, happy days. This is around 30 years ago now!

[Some extras, two of Triangular Lodge with the pic taken outside being a phone snap and one of Lyveden New Bield and the re-enacters]
