Day at a Time

Teasel

I've managed to grow some healthy teasel plants, dipsacus fullonum,  this year and I'm pleased about that. There should be lots of seed for the goldfinches later in the year.

My daughter and I went over to Beecraigs Country Park today to meet a group of our mutual friends. We had a short walk and a very long blether. We'd taken a picnic lunch and by the time we set off home I was really cold. It's a grey and windy day. Looks more like autumn than summer. A bit disappointing but the company was excellent.

A quick teasel snap before pulling on more layers of clothing. Thanks Miranda for the wildflower challenge.
