Low tide

There was a bit of a breeze but it was very warm so we had  short walk with Fletch along side Walney Channel.

As it was low tide, the old path and foot bridge is very visible. It's still used and was once the only  way to get from Walney to Barrow and on to Dalton in the 19th century ,( and earlier) before the bridge was built.

My brother and wife came round this afternoon and my neice and her son. 

Good to see them and had a good catch up chat.
