Going.. and eyes
We were told that once the roots are cut we should leave the ivy 2 months to die off before removing it. But the hot weather seems to have dried up the ivy quite quickly . I've a feeling it will be removed sooner than that.
Today was hot. An earlier walk for Fletch as I had to go to Ulverston mid day..
My brother Al and Liz popped round to give me an anniversary card which she' made , with a lot of thought and care.
I then drove up to Ulverston to the Opticians. She has a very good reputation and I expected a longer eye test than usual but wasnt expecting to be in there an hour and a half. She was very thorough and obviously loves her job and was keen to get my prescription as precise as possible.
I'm now crossing my fingers that the prescription is spot on. It's my 3rd eye test this year.
I came out feeling quite tired , it was quite tense as I really had to concentrate.
A quick nip in to M& S food. I then sat in the car park scoffing a chicken and avocado sandwich before setting off home
