Konza

Hello after a long absence!
A picture of the Konza Prairie, a native tallgrass preserve in the Flint Hills of northeastern Kansas. Beautiful hiking trails and the peaceful sounds of breeze and birdsong. We visited William's mom for two weeks in July and got back last week. She relocated from Tennessee to follow William's sister and husband back to the town of Manhattan, KS ("the little apple"). W and his sis grew up there, so it's a homecoming in a way, after thirty years. 

Now back to Virginia and work and the kitties, including our new(ish) little Mo. Hope you're having a good summer!
