Nighttime crepe myrtle

A walk up the hill this evening, very muggy and still in the upper 80s at nearly 10pm. Crickets, cicadas, tree frogs, and the web of some spider who must've been parasailing through the dark. I was a little spooked that I might encounter a snake at the side of the road. 

Extras: on the way up; cuddly cats kept me company after my Sunday night shift.
