A few more pieces
This is a jigsaw I bought earlier this year. I loved the picture - Van Gogh’s Lilies - but I had forgotten just how difficult these Fine Art puzzles are - the strange shaped pieces that twist and turn before magically fitting in place. I started it a while back and couldn’t even get the outside edges completed. Then I was doing other things, then I was going through the blurred vision time and couldn’t even see the pieces properly.
So it got left. I didn’t think I could do it and wanted to start another, but I was reluctant to give in and destroy what I had managed to do. Dilemma!
Then yesterday I was waiting for washing to finish and thought I would give it a go. Amazingly a few pieces just seemed to jump into place (well not quite but almost). Because they are such strange pieces, when one actually fits, it is quite satisfying. Maybe it is helping to develop my space awareness - that’s my excuse anyway.
So I am continuing with it. I have too many books to read to spend much time on it, but there’s no hurry.
Extra
So much sport being watched - not by me. I’m sure our daughter won’t mind me adding this picture she sent today - how to keep track of the tennis and the cycling . . .
