Marbled White

The dogs have been flat out. Both take it in turns to go and sit in the old tin slipper bath I've filled for them. I'm in heaven and enjoying every moment of this heatwave.

I didn't take the dogs out until well after six o'clock. The air was cooler and we were alone, walking through the woods on the Downs to get to a little meadow that sits directly above my house. The dogs stirred up the grass and a cloud of Marbled White lifted into the air. I made them sit long enough for me to get this shot. The lens I had with me wasn't the best for purpose, so this is heavily cropped.
