The Rest Of The Story......

The  choir and orchestra sabbatical for July of 2024 ended last week, so we were back in the loft and on stage to do our part in helping Daniel and the praise team lead the worship and praise portion of the service.  We began with a congregational song, followed by the welcome from Pastor Wes.  The choir and orchestra did an uplifting version of  "It Is Well With My Soul" after which the congregation joined in for a few more songs to prepare our hearts to hear the message that Pastor Wes brought to us from 2 Chronicles 20.  He reminded us that God delights in having His children seek Him, because He is good, kind and faithful, but knowing we need to always be seeking Him is only half of the equation.  The other half is knowing how to seek God.  First, it must be personal----no one else can seek God for you.  It should also be corporate in that we should join with a body of other believers to help and encourage us as we seek God.  We should also seek to know God and His will for us by reading and studying the Bible.
