Akbuk (again)

It was almost midday by the time Robin and I got to the seafront - daft time to be swimming really, but mad dogs and Englishmen (well, women, and Robin is Canadian, and Rufus stayed home - too hot for little paws - but still crazy time). Swam a bit and rested in the shade, rinse and repeat until finally going to Pasa bar for a couple of beers and a plate of chips!  Defo enhanced the holiday mode :) Back home late afternoon for pool time to continue the vibe. 

Early evening and a gardener, recommended to me by Dan and Anita, came to look at the outside area and we talked through my landscaping ideas. In three phases, he will probably start in ten days time, this first stage includes removing some crazy paving and replacing with a gravel bed for drainage in the winter rains and planting fruit trees - probably lemon, apricot, plum, cherry.

This evening we went to Unuvar for dinner, Very popular place for Turkish food.  Rufus came too. His mixed behavior continues - totally fine until you go near his damaged tail then it's a different story. It's not looking good and I am fearful for the vet's verdict on Tuesday after 6 days of antibiotics.

Back home after dinner for olympics watching for what was left of the evening.
