28th.~ Bonjour from France

We loaded the car last night and left just after 4.30 this morning. Arriving in time for our train crossing.  I think the tunnel works on a turn up around your allotted time and we will fit you on sometime within an hour or so.  I think we left about half hour later.

We headed straight to the supermarket in Boulogne to stock up on provisions for the week and two trolley loads later we set off to have lunch on the beach in Le Touquet.  We were then joined by Sim, Nat and the boys. Shortly followed by Josh, Natalie and Bex.  Both Lucy and Adam have not joined us mainly due to work commitments.  

After a while on the beach we then drove to our destination for the next week in the Somme region of France.  The house is wonderful and spacious and the grounds amazing with a very large, fenced off pond and wrap around garden.
