Feels like Autumn

Looks like we've had a drop of rain overnight, not much though, & early this morning, mizzle, so a fairly windy, grey day. I spotted this feather on the heath while walking Indie.
I got rid of the ironing pile this morning as I did'nt need to visit the allotment.
Drove down to CK, Mum was waiting for Goldilocks this morning. Must have been disappointed when I turned up. Not really!! But there were 2 cereal bowls of porridge topped with double & clotted cream on the table, plus 2 dirty bowls in the kitchen sink so I'm not sure just how much porridge Mum had eaten before I arrived. She did'nt want anymore just a slice of toast & coffee which I made for her. I sat and ate one bowl of porridge while having a quick chat before walking Indie.
When I returned we sat and watched the Womens gymnastics. The gymnastics commentary team are very informative. I like the combination, & Matt Baker gets very excited. He used a mobile phone as a comparison to the width of a gymnastics beam. No wonder there were a few topples in this mornings event. The gymnasts have had a very busy time competing in the team & individual medal competitions. Some excellent routines & very worthy winners.
Catching up early today as I have to take Mum's blood pressure for 3 days so will be heading back to CK after dropping hubby at the pub. Never a dull moment here I tell ya.
