A dwarf pincushion flower, Scabious columbaria

As I wandered across a wild grassland I kept looking down at the herbs and occasional butterflies. This flower really attracted me. I have identified it as Scabious columbaria, or small scabious, or the dwarf pincushion flower. I have seen it before but never knew what it was called.
