Glorious

Spent a glorious afternoon in the Queen Elizabeth Forest park round about the David Marshall Lodge.

Hadn't managed up to this neck of the woods yet so far this year. Generally our first trip of the year is in February at the mid-term break but the weather was atrocious at that time...so thought it fool hardy to venture up on a pleasure trip in the snow.

We did quit a trek round the trails today and this wee fella was spectacular...he nigh on walked 7.5km:-). The big boys...including Mr R enjoyed clambering over the rocks to the waterfall and Es & the wee fella had a shot on the hammocks they have put up near the waterfall. The Weim got a good walk too:-) It was a good afternoon.

...and all too soon my 18 days of annual leave are at an end...back to the grind stone tomorrow:-(
