The Gas Man Came to Call…

… Only those of a certain vintage will recognise this Flanders and Swann reference.
Basically, the tradespeople come to do one job and create a few more.

The good news for us is that a rotten windowsill has been replaced very nicely.
The less good news is that we need to get someone else in to mend the damage.

In the meantime, and I mention this for my own journalling purposes, I had a most surreal and weird dream last night.

I shared the detail of said dream, by text, with a family member (because I thought it might amuse, though admittedly it did involve a bereavement).
The reply I received was spooky.
A similar dream had been experienced by that family member last night. (Upon waking we both bored our respective partners with it!).

Isn’t life weird?
