Jersey Tiger Moth

I struggled to choose between this and my first extra today. Second extra is a more conventional view. Do take a look if you are interested in suchlike! This was an unusual sighting for me - the first one I ever saw was last August on the same tree in my garden!

I had a truly lovely morning when a dozen friends came round. We sat in the garden, chatting, laughing, drinking tea and coffee and eating cake in honour of the birthday of one of the friends. Such a wonderful, lighthearted way to start the week!
